Guys can we please change the logo back. We are a community and so far as i am seeing it is going the oppesite way i want nide to be everyones sh*twhole. Admins arent allowed to choose sides but to be neutral at all times looking out for the interest of the player.

The owner of this server is a Ukrainian immigrant, you can only imagine how he feels about the situation.

 

Secondly there are two sides, correct.

The first side is a sovereign state that is currently being illegally invaded.

The second is a war mongering state that actively oppresses dissent amongst it's citizens.

 

This isn't a border dispute between two states, not a historic rivalry nor a political feud between two different ideologies, no Russians are being prevented from playing nor being discriminated against due to their ethnicity.

 

There is only one side any person with any real sense of moral eminence would take the side of the country being invaded.

 

I'd question where any sense of repugnance or offence comes from when you hear a phrase that is supporting a nation's right to independence and support in the face of an invasion.

Being "neutral" or "not taking a side" in this situation IS taking a side.  Not standing up for people who are being murdered is a choice.

 

edit - to clarify, the Russian people are not at fault here.  I am not saying we should discriminate against Russians.  However, showing support for Ukraine (whose people are literally being murdered by Putin's sick egotistical desires) is appropriate and right.
