Server actually feels more steady now. Ffnoms have been decreased. So it is easier to nominate the maps.

Hello guys, after many weeks, i noticed that Final Fantasy maps are not played at all on the server.
i don't want to remove the current "ff nom" system that we have on theses maps but i think that they should be more played on NiDe.

The thing is, actually, when a ff map is played on the server, it's played for too long time (almost 2 hours sometimes) because they are everytime extended 2 times 15 mins plus 1 randomly time between 5-15mins by admins.

What has been modified/added:

-Increased the possibility to "extend" during the votemap, players could choose to extend or not the map one more time than before during this vote:

-Removed extends that would be manually added by admins: ADMINS ARE NOT ALLOWED ANYMORE TO EXTENDS THESES MAPS EVEN IF THE MAP IS NOT FINISH AND EVEN IF THE SCORE IS GOOD.

I will take a good look again at how these maps are played and how the server is going after 1 of these map.

i also have my preferred maps but I can’t do it just for myself since I’m not admin for myself but for everyone who enjoy to play on Nide.

We need to have a good diversity in maps rotations and I already increased CD on surf/atix/nemesis maps and decreased the value « minplayers» for harder maps to let more choices for players because we have a large players data base on Nide and playing ff marathon or let players play what they want when they want is not possible.

i also made statistics about what style of maps are the most played and it wasn’t Balanced, it’s true, it’s why I did theses change.

The biggest problem is not from this system, it’s com from players who enjoy to play ff maps and i will explain why:

you guys ONLY join when a ff map is actually playing on the server so you are not here before to unlock ff maps by typing « ffnom » in chat, and then you can’t vote for theses even when ff maps are unlocked AND NOMINATED.

the goal of this system is pretty simple:

force « ff fags » to join BEFORE and more often the server to type « ffnom » in chat, unlock it, vote for it and then play ff maps. (Others maps too since you guys must join before)

i also forget to say that I decreased the CD on ALL ff maps. 

Summary: 10 ffnom are nothing to be honest when I see server full after only 10 mins when the server play Mako.

if u guys want to play more often ff maps, com on the server more often and not only when a ff map is playing.

We had to vote for ff maps before so if no "ff fags" were on the server at the time it would never be voted for.

The problem of FF maps is that server always die after the map. Thats why we added this system to them.

Its not to prevent the maps of being played its to prevent that there are ppl that will vote for the map and after the map is over to leave the server and we dont have 20 players left.

Hello guys,

We noticed that a lot of players complained about the system «ffnom».

i would like to thank all players who talked and shared their opinion about this system because it’s with theses players that we can change to give the most positive and appropriate gaming experience on Nide.

after a long talk we decided the following decision:

- Ff nom and shared Cd has been removed.

- increased the CD on ff maps to 100.

- ff marathon is now allowed.

can't even keep a constant cd system, you change it everyday. this is why your server dies.

So tired of ff. Those ff lovers dont respect our work. We allow ff maps for them and they still make server dead each time ff maps played.
