I did start playing ZM-Mode first but then eventually took the step to ZE and stayed there. My name is Chris, I live in Belgium, I am 36y old and I love to play on ZE a lot. You probably see me almost daily on there, depending on your time zone of course. I do play on a lot of different times, that has to do with my job, when I am more working from home I do slip in the servers more often, just don't tell my boss! hehe I love to be a helpful hand, as some already maybe noticed that one me, mappers, developers, or even if they just need a guy to talk too, I am usually there. Players also know they can come talk to me if something bothers them, then I guide them thru so they can be helped where need, in cases I can help myself I do that too. I admit I sometimes involve myself in many thing but thats just me trying to be helpful, its nothing more as that. While some players on ZE might not like me at all, I do try my best to improve where possible so that maybe some players do change their mind over time. I have no grudge against anyone except a few, but those players are known as annoying people anyway so I cannot be blamed for that, not will I use admin powers against somebody over hate or disliking as thats not the way people should act when giving more power as just a player. In some cases people might think that I would, but thats their opinion, not mine. Overall I think I am liked by most on the server, while not everyone is on the same line all the times I don't think that ive caused anyone any troubles they would hate me over it, but feel free to shout it out, i appreciate all feedback as long as its respectfull. Otherwise its ear in ear out. - Gameplay I am 60/40 when it comes to been serious and funny (or trollish) on ZE, but I do know my limitations and how far I can take things before they would become a problem. I admit that I do troll from time to time but I have never trolled in a way that caused the round to be messed up, or that any leader would complain about me, hence the limitations I know. Most of the times its just giggles and jokes, and I do love to participate, but I dont think thats something bad, while I usually just play, talk and have fun, there are times I just sit in spectate to watch the gameplay and enjoy talking to other players meanwhile, of course when no leader is leading otherwise I chat instead. God do I wish I can get that kickflagger of my ass sometimes, I go to toilet and come back to a nice kick message hehe... I can understand some people say I talk a lot, but I just like to be social, aldo I always tell them about SM to somewhat trying to be a helpfull hand in that situation. Yes, I die a lot, because I suck at tryharding maps aldo last few weeks I have been more helping defending but my dieing stats have not changed a bit, and yes, as zombie I am usually a friendly one but its funny to scare the CT's when I come a bit too close and they think I will knife them I think that kinda sums up my gameplay. - Past experiences Ive been admin (or higher position) on multiple zombie escape servers, thought this was back in 2010-2014 times, on GFL, Plaguefest and Unloze, I thought it was worth sharing anyway. Aside from that, administrating a server or being a helping hand in admistration duties is def. nothing new to me. Ive been helping a rust community for the last 4 years now as second rank bellow the owner rank giving me a varierity of access on multiple things within that community, I help handling tickets, manage admins and trials, manage plugins/servers/databases, deal with most situations ingame and try to be a helpful hand in all situations possible. I also try to listen to both sides first before making a disicion, this has helped me solving tons of problems without having to lend out a single ban over the last 3 years. This also wont be a difficult thing to do both at once as I am leaving more and more tasks over to other admins nowadays in the rust community and they seem to do just fine so for me its just nowadays more server wiping and plugin management, and that is easy to combine with playing on ZE or been an admin here as well. So don't think I wont do anything here just cause I also help a rust community. I do divide my times properly and I frankly spend more time on ZE nowadays as I do on Rust. I dont believe in banning people if the situation was not that worse, hackers/cheaters are instantly removed while smaller situations are often delt with with just a simple warning. Sometimes that is more then enough to stop the problems. I think on a different level when it comes to administrating compared to when I am just a player. Aldo I am also known on ZE for having a short temp. sometimes, but that is me as player. As admin I know the guidelines and rules, and that you have to act in a more mature matter on a lot of different problems which is totally no problem for me. I go by the rule "you are a player unless an admin is required, then you become the admin to deal with the situation", I even made a custom plugin for that so admins on the rust community can swap to staff mode when need and stay in player mode when they dont need admin. Its a simple thing I try explain to every new admin we welcome on that team. I also believe in second chances to some extend. - Reasons One of the reasons I make this applications is because of the demand from others to give it a try. So here I am. The other reason is that I also believe that my past experiences as admin outside NiDE could come in handy when having to deal with situations in ZE as its simular and ive already seen how other admins/lsa deal with it, I take their actions as example on how to do the job the best, they stay calm throughout the whole process and I believe thats the best to go with. I believe been neutral and dont pre-judge is a good option too. Nobody is perfect of course. But its good to adapt, learn and improve where its needed. Admins are usually an example of good behavior, gameplay and interaction and thats def. a todo for me as well. I hope that I could be a helpful hand within this community and meanwhile share my experiences and knowledge about administration that I gathered over the years. Aaaand thats it! There has been some issues regarding map variety in the server (especially in NA times) where there's too many hard maps are overplayed (randomizer notorious example) due to the lack of options to play other hard maps, as i haven't been a lot active in the server i don't know the reasoning behind making them on time restriction besides the fact that they can "nuke the server" because they're too hard, but what if the server is full and the team is good and capable of beating such maps? we only depend on 1-2 person to be able to nominate them and big chances that they could be unavailable, another reason probably is the fact that the maps could easily be wasted if an empty server happens to go for those maps, but that issue can easily be solve if you increase the min amount of players to play the map (like 50+ players for example), and what that does is it makes it impossible for people to learn hard maps if they never get to play them, i see so many good hard maps in the nomlist that are never played and i would say a lot of people are missing out on those, you might say "Well u can play them on EU times bro!!!", well the big issue is that on EU times there's another problem which is "map f**gots" which you all already know, they always play the same map they love and they never try to attempt playing new maps unless they have laser or balls everywhere. As an example, yesterday we have beaten a very hard map (GoT_the_North) with a very good team and leader, server was 64/64 and everyone was playing well, me as a Trial admin wanted to give a try to playing the map ze_temple_raider_b4, i made a vote for it and it got 67% for "yes" but there was a problem, i couldn't nominate it due to it being on time restriction and the next 2 maps we ended up playing crazy_escape and then..., you guessed it, randomizer, and the team made it to 90% which is one of the hardest maps to beat, and probably harder than majority of the maps i listed below on my list. Also one thing i don't understand is the fact that some of the maps that are available (fapescape,sky athletic,randomizer), are on the same caliber in terms of difficulty as the time restricted ones (ancient,castlevania,skyrim) yet why are the former available and the latter aren't? i fail to see the reasoning there. I think allowing those maps to be played could really be challenging for the server if we get to play them once in a while and see how we could face the maps and see whether they like the maps or not in case the server is full and the team is willing to play new difficult maps that are rarely touched. I play the server regularly, i think im a very experienced ze player, i can lead some of the maps and have pretty decent english fluency, and i don't act on instinct and always try to keep my composure, and im confident in my abilities to be able to judge how the players behave in the server and whether or not their actions could be considered harmful to the other players be it through trolling on purpose using game mechanics or just being annoying and rude in the voicechat/text in general, and i think i could make the server a better environment by purging those who refuse to follow the rules, sometimes also i see admins wrongly punishing innocent players by mistake and often when they get confronted they always try to claim that they're in the right due to their ego or something despite being outright wrong, as a new admin (if i get accepted) i would try to discuss with them about the matter in question and see if we could get into an agreement so that he could undo his action towards that player if that ever happens (and ofc they can do the same thing with me), another thing is that i won't be a biased admin or whatever, i will try to view things objectively and instantly take the right course of action, if he does something wrong i will punish him, doesnt matter if he's my idol or my best friend, i'm also notoriously known for trolling a lot (probably will get a lot of -1s here kappa) and i promise to avoid trolling any longer, and i will refrain from doing anything selfish. Sounds good to me besides, I was an admin, but I haven't played in quite a long time, so I'm applying for the second time. I was in the army in training, I'm attaching a photo that's why I couldn't join the game for a long time. But since the army stuff is over now I will be able to devote time to the game again. Since I have experience in the position of admin, I think I can confidently apply for your team again. Of course, I noticed some changes in the rules after a long time, but I already had to familiarize myself with them. So I know the specifics of the game and the server, I know how to behave in these positions and that you cannot abuse them. On the server, you must be fair and maintain order, do not allow insulting other players, and be friendly. Important thing for me on the server is to guarantee that existing players & newcomers have a great time on the server. Since, as I mentioned before, I have already been in this position, I can safely say that I have less than a year of experience as an admin. Now I have a long vacation. But when i come back from vacation i work in ofise paper work so i don't missing for that long time again. And im that person who always able to help. First of all, I will go to observers and will watch this player, , if possible I will ask for help from other admins to help for watch player who may using aimbot, and if this is confirmed, then I would first give the player a warning and write in chat that him turn off a hax and if this player not respond i being kicked from the server, if he does not respond to this warning, I will repeat it again, and if he does not respond then, I will block him for a day.

Hello, I hope no one get this topic personally its just for the sake of the server. This is a list of the useless admins on NiDE: 1-George G 2-Starlight-Dash 3-Toxic 4-colorado.mp3 These admins i have seen by myself multiple times online on the server while people trolling and ruining the fun for everyone multiple times, an admin needs to be aware of whats going on in the server and care about the server while he is online. Just minutes ago I was playing ze_sandstorm and there was people picking items and trolling with them (happened 5 times in different rounds, each round they troll the round gets ruined and CTs doesnt win because of them), Starlight and George were online on the server and they didnt take any action, they were totally clueless of whats happening and thats what an admin shouldnt be be. i asked them to deal with the trollers and nothing happened. so i did a "social experiment" and took earth and was earthing my teammates the whole round to see if they will do something. they literally took no action. the only one ebanned me was @ Yumica which is a donated admin!!!!!... he unrestricted me after when he knew what i was doing was just to get the DeadAdmins attention which truely failed. I have seen the staff page on NiDE and i have also seen some names that I dont even noticed they are an admin until i saw the admin page. I hope (Lead Server Admins) take a look at the admin team again and refresh it with brand new admin that understand whats going on in the server and have the true experience (not just saying i have experience in their admin application and they get instant acceptance...) These admins and the other admins like them are just counted to be "There is an admin online" which if they are online or offline is the same thing on the server for all players, we need admins by actions not the name only. Maps NiDe hasn't beaten ze_moltentemple_a5 ze_evernight_a3_4_css2 ze_ffxiv_pharos_sirius_css Kickers: Moltentemple should be played in NORMAL MODE. If we beat the map, we can have 3 tries of full mode if the players want to.

Counttab is a real threat to the Zombie Escape community, let me tell you why. He is Telling people to vote for the most garbage server killer maps at low population at the morning. In my opinion he is responsible for the server to lose players and to kill the Zombie Escape community day by day by his stupid mic spamming while the map voting is on. My suggestion is to mute Counttab permanently or at least at map votes because he convince people to vote for as example Paper escape in low population with bad players and no leader, causing players to get bored and leave and decrease the population of Zombie Escape which we all try to keep it up as its the only thing that we enjoy the most for the most of the players. If im not confident that the person is aimbotting, id have another admin spec with me and later watch the demo to confirm our suspicions and ban them

Dear Alcolo, Hello, Thank you for your report. About Stalker and the extends : you are right the maps has not been extended with the regular extends but still 3 different admins made an extend. They should not have extended the map since the regular extend has not been used. BUT mistakes like that can happen since people in fact all voted YES for the 3 extends added by different admin. HA did the last extend, so others admins that made the 2 previous extends should have not extend as well. The 3 of them will be warned for that thank you. For the insertion of football that you did not mention, Striiker forgot to remove it and admited it in the chat. So this was a mistake too and Striiker was actually aware of that since he forgot to remove it. But SA stop inserting maps without votes where you got at least 65 % of YES for that vote. For the glitch, some players and admins are abusing it and HA did this too and admit that it was a mistake and is sorry for that. Best could be to fix this glitch so shit won't happen since it is used by many players for years. Someone will fix that shit. For the transfer of an item, which seems for me regarding your multiple report the worst part, Batata got a final warning to not do that again. If it happens again we will have a sanction towards Batata. For all the different topics people reacted on this shitshow, I would like to say just 2 things : - Those who don't give money to Nide worry about what happens to the money. It's hypocritical. Those who do give money do so to buy options: Skins, VIP, Donated Admin. They are free to do so, this is free-to-play. How Nide manages its servers, its costs and what happens to the money concerns the founder whether you like it or not. We don't have a tax system where players have to pay to play. - You report is justified for a troll HA made on Unloze. I am very disappointed about how you turned Alcolo : from a respected player and admin on unloze (always kind, helpful, respectful) to one shitty more troller (you trolled only with words towards nide first, but now you trimming team on purpose). So I would highlight that if you actually care about a game that will be 20 years next year and it's getting less and less players, people would be constructive and willing to help : by talking when something that can be seen bad happening, by making suggestions, by asking questions to the staff directly (instead the public places like forums), etc. A player that can be troller on one server and not on an other one is ridiculous. And this won't help a dying game to survive. But if this is a game where only monkeys survive then it is what it is... Just be smart (either HA or Alcolo). Being smarter or/and really skilled (because you are) doesn’t mean that you can criticise the players that are less skilled or smart less than you. instead, it give you the opportunity to improve everyone’s skill, being a leader, and since you are playing from times to times and made the « GodGaymer clan » that is a clan with really good players, that’s mean that you perfectly able to understand and to see who are the good and bad players. even is Parta is not the best, he is trying his best to lead the team, taking items to learn, playing all maps etc… About Hobbitten he spend a lot of time for Nide, making models, maps, being a leader, handling the admins team etc.. there are only few people that can judge him because only few people has been root on Nide and understand how hard it can be to be Manager in a community without to be rewarded for that. so, Being smart and skilled will be always harder to handle than to be dumb and unskilled, whatever you do, take it as your advantage, the good question to ask is then « who am i and what am I doing? » regards.

There are times where admins who miss extensive play time can't fulfill their role due to personal life outside of the game, so that's where I step in. The knowledge I possess is that over the months of having played on your server, I have observed how admins operate (with the likes of Alex & Sulei). Seeing how the operate as admins was the quickest way for me to pick up that knowledge on what to do & what not to do as an admin. One important thing for me on the server/community is to guarantee that existing players & newcomers have a great time on the server without any issues. From the admin perspective, I was formerly an admin for Dreist back in 2008 for 4 years (before I took a long break), so having that previous experience would help enhance my adminship with Nide. From a general perspective, having played since April of 2005, I quickly picked up on the gameplay knowledge & applied it to myself so if/when newcomers have no clue on what to do, or need help in a particular area, I'd gladly answer any questions thay they may have. Some details about yourself. What are you doing right now. How often do you think you'll play on the server? Outside of CSS, I work as a logistics operator in an office-based setting. I intend on playing on your server for as long as possible, barring any personal issues outside of the game. Here is a small question need to answer it. Imagine if you are a new admin on the server and there is a player he is being specious to using Aimbot, and you need to deal with him. How will you deal with that? Write your answer in full details. More detailed answer mean better answer. New admin applications should consider this question.: In this day of age, there are times where it's difficult to tell when a player is using a hack script. What I would do as an admin is start in spec mode & monitor every player that is actively in the game. If I suspect that a player is using scripts (whether for aimbot, bhop, etc.), I would speak to that specific player & let him/her know that using scripts are against server rules & politely ask them to turn the script off. If they refuse the first time, I will be more serious & let that player know that they'll be kicked if they refuse to turn the script off. If they refuse again, I'll boot that player. There are times when players get auto-banned for having a script enabled, but in the rare event where said player is not auto-banned & that player continues to use scripts, I'll bring it to the attention of a LSA or the SM (server manager) & have them know that I monitored said player using scripts & have told them in a cordial manner to turn it off, but said player refused, so I booted him, but then said player returned & continues to use the script. From there, I'll carry on with what the LSA or SM deem as appropriate.

RESTRICTIONS - COOLDOWNS - LEADER Introduction: The cooldown and the restrictions are here to manage the maps rotations and to add the best experience possible to the players. it’s upgraded every weeks according to what is happening on the server during EU and NA times, including to increase/decrease CD or to move a map into admin nomlist for some reasons: broken map, server killers all the time, event map for example, popular maps, easy maps, special maps…etc. Note: I’m not against to insert a map, even if the map is under a time restrictions. I do it myself all the time when I see that the server is ready to play hard maps and vice versa when players want to chill and take fun only because yeah it’s not everyone that want to play mako or atix or whatever 24/7. edit: I carefully check every details possible to add the more balanced settings in the mapchooser for the best experience possible on the server, our players data base is not the same all the time and the maps restrictions must follow it, some maps can be played all the time, some during EU, some during NA. Explanations: 1/ why a map has time restrictions: There are many reasons possible but I will try to focus on the main one. - It kill the server, but not all the time, for example Mako v5, during EU times bring a server full in 5 mins (of course it kill the server after but players enjoy the map), during NA times, it kill the server during the map, players doesn’t extend, the map is wasted, it’s different. basically, not adding restrictions on certains maps is to punish the players that could enjoy it, again for example mako at 4am. So, instead to waste map by letting the possibility to nominate it and play it whenever, we prefer to add time restrictions on it to only let the possibility for the players that enjoy it to nominate and play it When they are active. Simple! 2/ Why a map has leader access: the map need a good leadership to be win, the map is good but can be too difficult to be played without leader. note: most the time, the leader is needed because players are not familiar to the map, the fact is that without a leader the map will be wasted because it’s too hard and with a leader players will learn but more slowly. 3/ Why the maps has different coolodown between each other: Some maps can be played often, some sometimes, some in event only, for example. - Maps with low cooldown and no restrictions: Popular maps, it bring players or they are easy to play, it doesn’t kill the server and can be used to « revive it » Maps with low cooldown with restrictions: popular maps but not all the time, bring players only during EU or NA, it can also bring players during EU and kill server during NA (FF) map with high cooldown: maps interesting to play but not as often as easy maps, not popular as the category above, most of the time hard maps that are good but unknown by players this category include the special maps. - Leader: the leadership matter on theses maps, it’s not really about the difficulty, some maps are not that hard but can become insane to play without a leader. Good to know: The difficulty and the popularity of a maps make 90% of their cooldown: a map that is popular bring players even if the map is hard: low CD. note: a new map will always have a cooldown 15, to let the players discover and enjoy the new map, it’s also useful to me to see how players are interacting with the map: - is the map bring players? Kill server? -is the map difficult for players? Easy? -are players asking to extend? Rtv? Remove it? Summary: on Nide everyone got his job, Server admin, tech, LSA, server manager etc…we need to split all of this for the good performance of the server, only one person can’t handle all of it. It’s the same about the maps.
