  1. I'll just keep it short and simple cus it's "another bhop script" case: This guy named ".." mad sus. This demo should make it self-explanatory, especially round 3 where he's mother ZM. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uWPQmZAmRI9a5K8RbaG7olIuJ4q_PU0K/view?usp=sharing
  2. So I got muted 1 day for spamming (knife_fun session, 10 July), whether it's fair or not is debatable. But apart from Sin usually targeting me for muting, i've got a few reasons as to why he's a lost cause of an admin: 1. During my time in the server with him, he usually mutes me first before muting anyone else also spamming, regardless if they come to the server first or not and the kinds of content they spam. This gives the impression that he also looks at me as a "legit" reason to mute anyone else. 2. His "punishment" is usually based on personal bias, and that goes for everyone he's "punished". You can't always make the right judgment, sure, but when he makes these kind of "punishments" so often in such an inherently obvious fashion, it's self-explanatory. 3. He got promoted to Server admin from Donated admin in an unbelievably short amount of time, debatably thorough some questionable means (or succing Hobbit's dicc, which we joked but he admitted). 4. Outside of my time in the server, it's hard to judge him fairly as I myself don't have a full picture of his type of admin, but in general his time as an admin has undoubtedly attracted a certain level of unfriendliness and hostility from others, and arguably not through the form of "tough love" and "fair game" which would've justified his actions and situational judgement. Disclaimer: The topic of this whole thing is not to defend myself and my actions, but more about criticizing Sin himself as a whole, no personal attack involved. Any well-constructed feedback would be appreciated.
  3. 1 simple thing I have to say regarding Sausage's reply is: "Sounds good in practice, but doesn't work." Especially when considering how Nide's admin system may have a basis on what specific qualities they're looking for (as stated in admin applications), but for most cases disregards them anyway. In addition, from my perspective, how the admin system operates is usually left to a questionable mix of: - Personal bias, - One-sided observation from every admin with different interactions with the admin in question, - And said admin's past experiences and actions. When a workplace's system is flawed, the staff themselves become flawed. Same thing for Nide's hierarchy admin system. Anyway, that is my take on the topic. Now to go hide in my eternal slumber basement for the next decade.
  4. +1 to the 1 donated admin that is actually good. not to say all the others are sh*t, but miki's a diamond in the rough.
  5. +1. The amount of positive energy that this fellow radiates to everyone is unbelievable, and it's a well-written application. What can I say more other than good luck?
  6. Very little time in the server, and I agree with Batata: your English skill is rather poor. Application is quite short, too. -1
  7. Hi, my name is Kon, and I'd like to apply for a trial admin position in NiDE. (Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:127428694) I have played CSS for somewhere over 4 years, 90% of which is spent on Zombie Escape, and I'm applying for a trial admin position in NiDE as a logistics supporter: completing simple tasks with the power and responsibility of a regular admin. I believe one of the important elements to our zombie escape server (or the NiDE community, as a whole) that is endlessly attracting more and more new players, is accomodating to them and providing support whenever needed. We all have been there as the new guys, the rookies, more often than not scared to learn and experience new things in games due to a number of veterans and the old-timers creating a (not necessarily) hostile and unfriendly environment and (in-)directly discouraging us. There is always a toxic part in any gaming community, but that is not a legitimate reason to discriminate all toxic newbs and the "fresh meat" good guys alike. And what I strongly think can contribute to our community is welcoming them with open arms, providing foothold to them with general ZE knowledge like maps and items usage, and as time goes by, help them become a part of a community they'd known and loved. I have very limited experience to being an admin however, with a trial adminship on NIDE for approximately 3 months and only 2 months on an old CS 1.6 server. (Long story short: the admins were.. not very supportive and I had to self-teach, then the server shut down shortly after..) But I'm willing to learn and gain experience along the way. As for some details about me, I am currently a uni student (12 hours a week during courses, and about 10 hours per week during internships) which give me a lot of free time to solve any server issues that might occur, as long as I'm not outside hanging out with the weeb homies or just cooped up at home studying. And to answer the question about a suspicious Aimbotter: the simplest, most straight-forward solution is to spectate the player for unusual behaviors, mostly from movement. Instances of this are looking at strange corners (or just on the ground like common CSGO aimbotters) and weird pausings as if tweaking the aimbot. But of course, careful judgement based on the players' skill level and key communication before jumping to conclusions is incredibly essential. Looking forward to provide even more love and support to our "dead gamemode" community, Lâm.
