It's not often you hear news of a new map coming out for CS Source. But I have confirmed a long time rumor that local legend and second in command to owner @ George G , Nide's very own @ Hobbitten  is developing a map based on the classic CS_Assault. 

An ETA has yet to be established and confirmed comments of "I'll do it eventually" are compelling but don't quite pin down when we can see its beautiful release. I will update this thread with news as its released. I reached out to some of the Nide members for comments and here's what they had to say...

      Very likeable and enjoyable player, he has tried some donated admin and he had no errors and his time on ZR has been excellent i would say +1 for you to be on trial admin

I’m at a stage where I want to support and help with the development of the server, and I’m motivated to become an admin in order to achieve that. What time zone are you active in (NA or EU hours)? I mostly play during EU hours, but whenever I can, I stay on later and end up playing into NA time as well. How long have you been playing on the server which you applied for? I’ve been active on the Zombie Revival server since 2023, and before that I mainly played Zombie Escape. How experienced are you in the gamemode for which you applied? I think I’m familiar with pretty much all aspects of the gamemode on the Zombie Revival server. Do you have any past admin experience? I don’t have previous experience as an admin. I’ve been a trial admin for almost a month — I purchased it because I wasn’t sure if it would be right for me, and I realized that I can handle it. I’m familiar with the ZR guidelines and the commands, as I’ve already applied several of them. Do you have any other skills like (Mapping, Plugins, Drawing, Video editing etc) I’m currently learning how to make maps, and even though I don’t have a finished one yet, I’ve gained some mapping experience.
