Id argue this game is on its very deathbed and it feels in general the conduct of management is out of touch, I bring that up as criticism take it as you will, call me a retard whatever I dont care but I care like everyone else does and play to have fun, so why is it that things that arent meant to be taken seriously are taken seriously? what does that result in? do you get your enjoyment from jading your playerbase and not the game? to start, today we're on mako and we notice westersand v8 is on cooldown 3 maps and there's an event in 1:45 hours. so we say why not go quick rtv 3 maps that generally people dont like to play and arent played reguarly so we can go 1 actual map where we get a good session to have fun, mind you for this to happen, people would have to RTV around 100 times, 33 something rtvs for each map. for this to happen, 3 times in a row, people NEED to WANT to rtv. so me personally I dont mind using my mic to push to happen, afterall I wanna have fun. if people disagree with me they can choose to not rtv thats fine and acceptable. since im not a liar and I respect the truth as things are, Ill go right ahead and admit on immortal flame, we force RTVed but the last person died before the vote ended so we had to play another round. so I mislead on the mic and told everyone to stay in spawn so we can die and go next round, justified behavior? not at all, this is obviously trolling and tbh I shouldnt have done it but the fact that almost EVERYBODY stayed in and listened to me despite almost all of them knowing the map and fully knowing theyre going to die (you know thats the truth so please dont waste time arguing), they choose to die so we can stick to the original plan to rtv 2 more maps to go play an actual session. in the process people knifed the zombies and I never said to do so but regardless I dont have to bring that up because im not in control of other people, I only have a voice and a microphone. the whole thing started next map, for whatever reason the whole situation which was a joke clearly and nobody was interested in playing seriously, I dont care what excuses you make to tell yourselfs this is somehow my fault because I spoke on the mic, you know very well thats not the truth. people arent tied on a leash to my voice they're free to do anything they want, if they dont want to RTV the map then they wont thats how it works. its just easier to always put the blame on someone else and point fingers. this is where my whole arguement for "out of touch" starts. I told everyone to RTV and 33 people RTVed in like 12 seconds, despite this being clear as day nobody's interested in playing the map life goes ahead and mutes me for 10 minutes for spam, I dont care about the punishment itself I care about the conduct in which its done, there are plenty of cases where im leading and there are people misusing items, spamming over me and nothing is done but for this instance where nobody is playing seriously, everybody is fixed on one goal, to get an actual session before the event and thats where the hammer is struck down? If it ended there it wouldve been whatever, but this was followed by the messages, and since this meant be misinterpreted ill give a clear description how this translates to the people on the server. Hey Tony, I'll start off by saying your conduct and professionalism is really good. Being a Former LSA you have the needed experience to be able to know what to do in certain situations where the solution is not so clear as you've also demonstrated even after your resignation. Its very true recently the server environment has been very toxic and its not uncommon to see a bunch of slander, trash talk happen behind the scenes when people are not present and such and overall it hurts the server vibe and that inturn has a massive impact on the gameplay. I also believe the server being dead recently is more so because of this unwarranted toxicity especially when it occurs in private as it pretty much turns the community into a powderkeg waiting to explode. That being said its good to see you aware of this fact as I personally feel like its been lost among people recently, given its a really important factor for the gameplay experience and community as a whole. i'll remove your ban, the map itself suffers this issue always and the best we can do is warn over and over for people not to go through because once they do they can easily trim half the team. we'll bring this issue up for futher discussion on the admin team. unbanned

Hi softandshiny, Since I was also on at the time this happened and supported this punishment ill give my perspective. The video sito posted is concrete enough to validate your punishment. The final decision is up for discussion with LSAs and higher ups, We as the staff team that was on at that moment all agreed you were bhop scripting with no dispute after watching your point of view. Needless to say take this ban as a warning and to stop bhop scripting otherwise future bans will be harsher.

Hello Verdessence I'll explain my mute on you in short but it seems youve already proven my point in your own report to begin with. I nominated mist which is a hard leader map, At the start of the game you were already trying to lead which is fine if theres no leader, However I was present and I started to lead and it seems you werent too happy that you werent the one who was leading. I didnt make much of it and continued on, After which you talked over me and although in the demo it appears we just happened to talk at the same time on my pov (cause of ping and such) it happened that I was talking and you cut me mid sentence. My reasoning for muting you was your history of misleading and troll not because of a personal vendetta against you. I can understand why you might feel frustrated considering I also punished you yesterday however keep in mind I muted you for only 15 minutes as a warning to stop. Again because of your history of misleading and troll I cant exactly trust that you'll understand a verbal warning and that you wont misleading during a critical section of the map which btw because I nominated im compelled to lead. In the future be mindful and understand that theres time for talk and time for focus.

Hello Verdessence. I'll start off with a simple explanation as to my reasoning for your materia ban. You were told several times to use ultima on the boss, The logical reason I see for that strat is the fact the hitbox on that boss isnt consistent and and the boss nuke triggers alot quicker than conventional mako baha. Simply put, Its a different boss strategy. After you were told to use ultima, You put a message in the chat that said you used ultima and you put a lenny after. I interpreted this as intentional grief, As its basically just laughing off what you were properly told to do. It doesnt help the boss nuked the team when its remaining hp was around 1200 - 1500, Though even if the boss died it wouldnt have changed the fact you were misusing your item. What you did is more or less the same as not using heal on baha ultima on mako. The next bbo mako cycle, Ultima was used and the round went smooth. In the future if you pick up an item on any map and dont know what to do it with it, Either drop it to someone who does or ask to know when to use it. Also seeing as you claim you didnt "lenny" after putting the fake ult use in chat (Although irrelevant considering you put a fake use message to begin with) I went back to check and sure enough you did. Only reason im adding this is to remind you that trying to lie in your appeal and doesnt do you any favors. Aswell as your mention of the person using the heal item, The team died due to the boss timer running out and nuking the team, Not because of baha ultima attack.

Ive been around multiple communities prior to Nide and have seen both good and bad staff moderation, And therefor im confident in my ability to interpret situations and distinguish whether they're intentional grief or a genuine mistake and so on. -------------------- / What time zone are you active in (NA or EU hours)? Mainly EU, However I sometimes get on NA hours aswell. -------------------- / How long have you been playing on the server which you applied for? 4 months - 250 hours overall -------------------- / How experienced are you in the gamemode for which you applied? Despite my low playtime, I believe ive been to almost every corner when it comes to ZE in terms of gameplay and have a good understanding of how the game mechanics work. When it comes to the social aspect which is where the majority of the moderation happens (such as knowing to tell intentional grief and genuine mistake apart) and is also a very grey area where almost everything is context dependant, I feel very confident in my ability to make the correct decision.
