Special Information:
In this event there will be the following kickers:

  ze_echo_boatescape_extended:   VIP mode and random zombie spawns
  ze_boatescape6_remix_fix2:   Blind VIP and nemesis have half the speed 
  ze_venice_escape_b2:   Nemesis mode with random spawns
  ze_sorrento_xmas_v4:   Nemesis mode with only 1 nemesis - Slow + Low Knockback 
 ze_grandboat_escape_n_v4_3:   3 Healing beacons

    Anyone willing to lead.

    ? Rewards
    Winning the map ze_echo_boatescape_extended will grant you 3 day of vip.
    Winning the map ze_boatescape6_remix_fix2 will grant you 3 days of vip.
    Winning the last stage of ze_boatescape_batata_ultimate_v1_2 will grant you 5 days of vip.
    Winning the map ze_venice_escape_b2 will grant you 3 days of vip.
    Winning the map ze_sorrento_xmas_v4 will grant you 3 days of vip.
Winning the map ze_grandboat_escape_n_v4_3 will grant you 5 days of vip.

Event Summary:

It was good fun to watch North Americans learn the various kickers that our Event Manager Aton ran for this event!  After a bit of a rocky start, the North Americans managed to win VIP mode on ze_echo_boatescape_extended after 7 tries.  Blind VIP mode on ze_boatescape6_remix_fix2 proved to be tremendous fun as well as very challenging, taking 6 tries to win.  Players highly enjoyed this mode and you can bet that it will appear in future events!

The event continued on ze_boatescape_batata_ultimate_v1_2, the laser lovers' ultimate boat map!  A quick 4-1 start was achieved, and then due to a lack of laser tryhards, it took 7 attempts to finally win the last stage.  Three players managed the final stage win.

ze_venice_escape_b2 was the next map, and was played with nemesis spawning among humans.  The player "z1." scoffed at this challenge and soloed the map on the second round.  What a pro!  Take notes, kids.

Moving on to ze_sorrento_xmas_v4, there were some minor technical difficulties which resulted in the entire server being rewarded VIP.  The map was still played and fun was had by all.  We apologize for the inability to play the "1 slow nemesis with low knockback" mode, but don't worry, we'll make sure we figure out the issue and we will play it in the future.

The event wrapped up with healbeacon mode on ze_grandboat_escape_n_v4_3.  The North Americans tried their best, but the initial settings of 3 healbeacons proved too much for them to handle.  Over the course of dozens of tries, Event Manager Aton graciously modified the healbeacon kicker several times, eventually ending up with 10 healbeacons (but with a smaller than normal radius).  Alas, it was to no avail.  The North Americans will unfortunately have to add this map to their short list of maps that they were unable to beat in an event.  Perhaps they will get a shot at redemption in the future?

      I'm gonna butt in and say this cause multiple people have asked.  Using Ned to aggressively overdefend like that isnt trolling. You practically get 20+ seconds of invulnerability if used right and is pretty much the "meta" thing to do especially if the Bart player is also doing it. In the clip you posted you hardly lost because of him getting swarmed, being unable to make the jump, and losing heal. When you climb the ladder you can see like half or more of the team being stacked in the corner on top not even bothering to defend.  Maybe if this was repeated behavior across multiple rounds it would be trolling but from just the clip you posted what he was doing what he should have been doing with an item like that.

      You say you don't know the map yet, but why did you stare at them for 1 second and then you said "I think that you can doorhug? yeah doorhug!" and kept staring and watching them die bc of the explosion in the clip. if you don't know the map why didn't you doorhug with them and die? in my thinking that you are an admin, either say something you are 90-100% sure about it or not talking at all. that's only for the missleading for the shit talking idk, you are an admin you shouldn't be like that at the first place. Also, who is "Maxime"?

      Hi Maxime, I hope you're doing well. As for the part about me, I don't know that map very well since I don't play it much. I honestly didn't know that the door would explode and kill players. I know there's a laser that appears at a certain level (not the first one of course) and that's about it. I don't think anyone was leading the map at the time, so I took the lead but now that I think about it, I realize I shouldn't have. Sorry for the inconvenience.
