Hello everyone! 

So i noticed there is 4 types of admins (Lead Server Admin - Server Admin - Trial Admin - Donated Admin), and i wanted to know what are the differences, well explained if possible, of all those types. I know lead server admin have the final word in accepting admin apps for example, but i dont think thats all... and I haven't read all topics in forums but still wanted to ask just in case i miss something.
Also how admin apps works? someone just go to nide.gg go to forums and apply for admin? or have to go through some kind of training or maybe admins suggest him to go and apply for admin?

Hi Aton

There is 3 main admin groups being "trial admin" "Server admin" "Lead server admin" and donated admin isnt considered a part of the admin team therefore they arent in staff chats on the discord server.

Trial admin
Is a period which is applied to someone who have recently applied to ether ZR or ZE which then are accepted. However they are not part of admin team completly but their in a testing phase which lasts around 1 - 2 month max after that you will be ether promoted or demoted depending on your activity or what kind of admin related commands which you have done in trying to make the server better. This also includes how well you comminucate with others etc.

In short terms its a training phase for becoming an admin

While trial admin also have fewer commands compared to lsa and admin. However they would still have more access than donated admins.

Server admin
Once you get accepted from trial admin your next group would be server admin which kinda is a permanent group if no abuse happens or being insanely inactive. Its basically just a regular admin who is part of the team.  Server admin is also a place where higher ups like me or lsas and sometimes server managers too suggests a new lsa within the admins who have done amazing and no mistakes done. However not everyone will become lsa.

A lot more commands than trial and donated


Lead server admin

Being a lead server admin is a special role as you basically have your own server console with rcon access therefore also the more trusted people in this group. It is also the ones who have the final say when talking about admin applications. However all admin applications are validated from everyone in high area which have their say.

Lsas are also the ones who manage regular admins and trial admins when they are accepted or not. They also check who is active and who is not. This group also deals with reports.


Lsa is not an easy role to have as it can be very stressful as you constantly gotta think neutral on behaviors for players etc. It is also a position which you will have to be more active than a regular admina and be much comminucative becuase of how much information that are shared each day within the high up area.

I wanted to play peacefully, but then a player started saying, "Mira si ese tipo tiene bunny," which translates to "Look, if this guy has a bunny" in English. It was clear to me that he was trying to accuse me of something. One of your admins, "CrazyChris," was also there. He responded, "A mí no me ha salido nada. Está limpio por el momento," which means "Nothing came up for me. He's clean for now." Everything was fine until that player started breaking the props/boxes where I was camping. I reported this behavior to CrazyChris, but he either lacked proof or wasn't able to act—I honestly don’t know. He decided to ignore the situation, and the player continued this behavior until the map changed. That was frustrating, but what really crossed the line was when the same player later used the N-word and displayed racist behavior. What really sucks is that CrazyChris took no action at all—not even a simple warning. I was genuinely expecting at least a small warning to be issued to that player. It’s clearly stated in the rules: "It is not allowed to destroy, damage or push props and barricades that are being actively used by teammates." 9: Proof: Look at the chat logs, look at demos. - I do not speak Spanish, I went to discord and captured all this chat logs and translated them.  10. Additional: I'm one of the founder of NovaHunterZ Community and Server (Not advertising), this guy often plays in one of my servers. He started threatening me by saying that he'll down my server.  Count this report as an admin abuse report as well. My spray is not genital at all, it just shows a woman boobs nothing more and CrazyChris banned my spray.

      Reduce eban appeal

      hello Rex  after viewing your case with the eban, i concluded that the eban for 1 month is too much yeah so i will reduce it to 1 week since last eban you got was the previous year, which was around 10 months ago, thats long time indeed. however the 3 days ban will stay due to avoiding ebans, just make sure next time not to avoid punishments even if you got semi unjustified punishment and instead make a punishment  appeal or admin report (in case of actual admin abuse), and i am pretty sure you will get the reasonable decision to handle your case. topic closed.

      1: My ingame name: Rex 2: My SteamID: STEAM_0:1:460732090 3: Name of the admin involved: Andrew 4: What server did it happen on: ZE 5: Map: ze_hobbiten_oldschool 6: Time and date:  24/06/2025 7: Explanation of the situation: I was somehow Trolling on hobbiten_oldschool, despite the fact that i used late wind to cover for myself it ended up killing the others, but to be precise during that period, the server was pretty much dead with 25-26 players. 8: Proof: Andrew has checked the demo, he decided to eban me, someone called an admin or someone actually told him that i "trolled" and he reviewed the demo after, despite the fact that i trolled it's a little too much for a 1 month eban. I did actually troll on my alt account and that eban is totally justified. The 3-day ban can stay, it is deserved.
