  • What server are you applying for (ZR or ZE server?): ZE

Optional: (Feel free to answer one or more questions)

Why are you interested in applying for admin? Eu hours lacks moderation and needs to be cleaned up. Server overall has been in decline due to connection problems, but also due to toxic behaviour and abusement from players with a staff role. I want to help create a good environtment for the playerbase, so we once again can get the server up and thriving.
What time zone are you active in (NA or EU hours)? Both.
How long have you been playing on the server which you applied for? Played quite a decent of time. Was former LSA. 6-7 months ago.
How experienced are you in the gamemode for which you applied? I've played for many years, so i am very experienced in the gamemode.
Do you have any past admin experience? Yes plenty. Former community manager, head admin on Row. Former LSA on nide. And admin on other communities from cs 1.6.
Do you have any other skills like (Mapping, Plugins, Drawing, Video editing etc) Mapping.

Hey Tony, I'll start off by saying your conduct and professionalism is really good. Being a Former LSA you have the needed experience to be able to know what to do in certain situations where the solution is not so clear as you've also demonstrated even after your resignation.

Its very true recently the server environment has been very toxic and its not uncommon to see a bunch of slander, trash talk happen behind the scenes when people are not present and such and overall it hurts the server vibe and that inturn has a massive impact on the gameplay. I also believe the server being dead recently is more so because of this unwarranted toxicity especially when it occurs in private as it pretty much turns the community into a powderkeg waiting to explode.

That being said its good to see you aware of this fact as I personally feel like its been lost among people recently, given its a really important factor for the gameplay experience and community as a whole.

Currently its a +1 from me, Good luck.

good application, i cant wait to play 2h30 of paranoid and minas marathon 4 times a week, not to mention the 2week bans for dropping an item by mistake or for an imaginary early trigg,

+1 I'm surprised you didn't start writing your application with hobgoblin and then end up not finishing it.

While I appreciate your willingness to step forward and apply for an administrative role, there are several concerns about your application and reasoning that I believe should be addressed.

First, your statement about EU hours lacking moderation seems valid, but the way you approach it gives the impression that you are primarily focused on criticizing the current staff rather than presenting constructive solutions. While issues like toxic behavior and abuse from players with staff roles are serious concerns, your application would benefit from elaborating on specific steps or plans you have to address these problems. Vague statements about wanting to "clean up" the server do not provide confidence in your ability to handle the nuances of such challenges.

Your mention of the server's decline due to connection issues also raises questions. As an applicant for an administrative role, your focus should be on what you can actively control—such as community management and fostering a positive environment—not external factors like technical problems. Blaming connection problems for the decline might come across as deflecting from the core issues of community engagement and effective moderation.

Regarding your time zone activity, while claiming to be active in both NA and EU hours sounds commendable, it is difficult to gauge whether this is feasible or realistic. If you are genuinely active during such a wide range of hours, it would be more convincing to provide specific examples of your activity and how you've contributed positively during these times.

As for your experience, while it's clear you've been involved in the community for a decent amount of time, your claim of being a former LSA raises some concerns. If you held such a high-ranking position just 6–7 months ago, it begs the question of why you are no longer in that role. Was your departure voluntary, or were there issues that led to your stepping down? These details are crucial for evaluating your suitability for returning to a staff position.

Your experience in the game mode and your administrative history are notable, but they seem to come off as overemphasized without much evidence of recent contributions. While you mention being a community manager, head admin, and holding various other roles in the past, it's important to highlight how those experiences translate into tangible benefits for this specific server. A list of past titles without examples of successes or challenges you've overcome feels superficial.

Lastly, your mention of having mapping skills is interesting but lacks detail. If mapping is a skill you wish to bring to the table, providing examples of your work, contributions to past projects, or how you plan to utilize this skill for the server would make a stronger case. Simply stating that you have the skill adds little value without context.

In conclusion, while your application demonstrates experience and a willingness to step into a leadership role, it lacks depth, specificity, and a forward-looking vision. Criticizing the current state of the server and vaguely promising improvement does not establish confidence in your ability to lead effectively. A successful application should focus on actionable plans, clear goals, and evidence of past contributions that align with the server's needs.

    • hello maxing  after i reviewed the demo for more details and i concluded that ned item can be used aggressively to defend zms (as ransmi the mapper mentioned that ) but mobile seems that he went too far and jumped inside zms often and often then in jump part he couldn't make the jump bcs he was getting damaged by zms but the defense was kinda bad so he failed and died. although he has to be much more careful since Ned item needed for later part to heal teammates, i hope this case wont happen again or there will be more decisions have to be taken same thing goes for other stuffs  as for Harraga said, he mentioned that doesnt know the map well which is hard to believe, as an admin you shouldn't tell players to doorhug (where some doors explode) bcs its not  good at all from admin perspective. topic closed
    • That first demo clip has half the team doing nothing jerking off to anime sprays at the top maybe if a real ∑SΣӼ leader was on they would have told the players to stay down and defend. Mobile using Ned that way is the best way to use it and he's the only reason why zombies didn't get up sooner to be honest.
    • it might be crazy for some but theres this feature that nide runs right now its called !selfmute it mutes people in your end so you dont hear them i dont know if this feature is used much these days but it can really help
    • I'm gonna butt in and say this cause multiple people have asked.  Using Ned to aggressively overdefend like that isnt trolling. You practically get 20+ seconds of invulnerability if used right and is pretty much the "meta" thing to do especially if the Bart player is also doing it. In the clip you posted you hardly lost because of him getting swarmed, being unable to make the jump, and losing heal. When you climb the ladder you can see like half or more of the team being stacked in the corner on top not even bothering to defend.  Maybe if this was repeated behavior across multiple rounds it would be trolling but from just the clip you posted what he was doing what he should have been doing with an item like that.
