7: Explanation of the situation:

I'll start off by saying regardless of what rank you are in the staff team there are certain ways to conduct yourself accordingly to situations, I dont care that this will get laughed at due to this coming from me considering my past as admin and what I was did so I dont care if this gets laughed at in admin chat, Im stating the obvious here just because you're higher in rank or near management that doesnt give you any justification to do whatever you want.

Why is it that when behavior that im gonna bring is, If done by a regular admin results in them getting berated and lectured but when lsa+ do it they dont get reprimanded for it? Maybe its not so obvious but people dont really care what rank you are in the admin team, Id argue the higher you are in rank the more damage behavior like this does needless to say why. so if we believe in standards and same equal treatment for a second lets hold everyone at that.

Id argue this game is on its very deathbed and it feels in general the conduct of management is out of touch, I bring that up as criticism take it as you will, call me a retard whatever I dont care but I care like everyone else does and play to have fun, so why is it that things that arent meant to be taken seriously are taken seriously? what does that result in? do you get your enjoyment from jading your playerbase and not the game?

to start, today we're on mako and we notice westersand v8 is on cooldown 3 maps and there's an event in 1:45 hours. so we say why not go quick rtv 3 maps that generally people dont like to play and arent played reguarly so we can go 1 actual map where we get a good session to have fun, mind you for this to happen, people would have to RTV around 100 times, 33 something rtvs for each map. for this to happen, 3 times in a row, people NEED to WANT to rtv. so me personally I dont mind using my mic to push to happen, afterall I wanna have fun. if people disagree with me they can choose to not rtv thats fine and acceptable.

since im not a liar and I respect the truth as things are, Ill go right ahead and admit on immortal flame, we force RTVed but the last person died before the vote ended so we had to play another round. so I mislead on the mic and told everyone to stay in spawn so we can die and go next round, justified behavior? not at all, this is obviously trolling and tbh I shouldnt have done it but the fact that almost EVERYBODY stayed in and listened to me despite almost all of them knowing the map and fully knowing theyre going to die (you know thats the truth so please dont waste time arguing), they choose to die so we can stick to the original plan to rtv 2 more maps to go play an actual session. in the process people knifed the zombies and I never said to do so but regardless I dont have to bring that up because im not in control of other people, I only have a voice and a microphone.

the whole thing started next map, for whatever reason the whole situation which was a joke clearly and nobody was interested in playing seriously, I dont care what excuses you make to tell yourselfs this is somehow my fault because I spoke on the mic, you know very well thats not the truth. people arent tied on a leash to my voice they're free to do anything they want, if they dont want to RTV the map then they wont thats how it works. its just easier to always put the blame on someone else and point fingers. this is where my whole arguement for "out of touch" starts.

I told everyone to RTV and 33 people RTVed in like 12 seconds, despite this being clear as day nobody's interested in playing the map life goes ahead and mutes me for 10 minutes for spam, I dont care about the punishment itself I care about the conduct in which its done, there are plenty of cases where im leading and there are people misusing items, spamming over me and nothing is done but for this instance where nobody is playing seriously, everybody is fixed on one goal, to get an actual session before the event and thats where the hammer is struck down?

If it ended there it wouldve been whatever, but this was followed by the messages, and since this meant be misinterpreted ill give a clear description how this translates to the people on the server.

I dont care this report is this long, this was too frustrating to turn a shoulder on, I dont care ill get laughed at in admin chat and called a retard and be disrespected, the fact is if this was done by a regular admin he would be scolded and berated for giving a bad image of the staff team, so lets hold everyone up to the same standard. I know not much will happen but I know most of the server regulars reading this will agree with what I had to say. I wouldnt be surprised if I get punished as retribution but then again I fully admitted to what I did wrong in this case and tried to be as fair as possible.

You know how easily u can influence nide players and especially if a certain type of players are online so getting them to waste 3 maps is partly your fault, map CD is there for a reason and if you want to play a proper map there are a Ton of different maps that are off CD you could have chosen so i think you should have gotten a higher mute.

But yeah other then that i think you are right and life shouldnt have reacted the way he did to threaten you with an eban, i understand his reasoning (you wont enjoy the map with the eban as much as without it) but i think technically it would be abuse.

But in the end nothing happened so i dont think you should make such a Big Deal out of it.

I didn't read the original post, everything that has more than 10 lines i just skip tbh..
I'm not stating anything, i just took a screenshot from the rules page and pasted it here, everything else i leave up to everyone to figure it out and have their own opinions on this matter.
You cannot control players, if they want to rtv, that's their right, like when we are playing a map, the map is over and players keep extending it for no actual reason..

I never saw or know anything against saying in the chat to rtv this or that map, i do that myself sometimes, i don't force people to do that, if they want it they're free to do so.

Let's say i still was an Event Manager, and let's say that what you said there is true.
Then it's in my right to apply any punishment to players that are trying to prevent myself and other players from enjoying an event/map?
Punish them if they somehow go arround the rules to make sure the event/map goes bad.

Is this abuse or it's just me, an Event Manager just making sure the rest of the server is happy with the maps that are being played?

I just want to understand your side. You should also know that Life is french and doesn't speak/write perfect english, so he might use words that have another meaning than the one he wants. I'm not defending anyone here, just trying to figure out both sides.
