hello Hobgoblin after reviewing the demo and the videos' shown here i concluded indeed that it was an accident from your side you were going up with the shelf and tried to press E on the door but accidentally caded some teammates including Harraga himself an actual troll player will look behind and check who wants to cade which it wasn't in your case it was just misunderstanding from harraga side he thought you were trolling and i do believe minas is hard map to manage since so many stuffs happening around and he was the only admin active there so there was so much stress on him as already Harraga apologized in advance if it was an accident and i believe it was i am removing the eban and sorry for the trouble topic closed

Hi HOBGOBLIN, I always make sure to warn players through msay so they don't get their teammates stuck if they don't know how to place barricades and to me it looked like a troll from you after getting muted for spamming while Odal was trying to lead the map. You know minas better than I do and you know that any misclick with a barricade can result in teamkilling very quickly. As you can see on that screen, you didn't even get the trigger since hEl got it first. Also, the player who killed flushr got ebanned a bit earlier than you since you seem to care enough to put it in your video. However, I would like to apologize if it was an honest mistake on your part.

I watched the demo in question. You boosted a friendly zombie toward CTs twice. Boosting friendly zombies ahead of/toward CTs is not allowed. It causes the team to panic if they don't realize the zombie is friendly. The zombie can also hit triggers and fail the round. Because your request for an unban was polite, and because the round was not failed due to your actions, I will reduce it to 1 week, of which there is about 3 days remaining. Please be careful in the future as additional bans will become longer and longer.

Thank you for taking your time out of your day to read my application and replying to it. I understand your concerns as you don’t know me personally on a deeper level and I don’t blame you, you haven’t played with me that much. However, I believe that’s why there is a trial period before achieving admin and it’s there for me to my prove myself and show my character to the staff team but also for the community.

While I agree with what Chris said, speaking from my experience on the admin team, here’s how I see it. I’ve seen Lackin around, and it’s clear there’s genuine interest in supporting the server, particularly during those late EU hours when things tend to get more chaotic. That kind of awareness is important, and it’s good to see someone willing to step up where help is needed. That said, being an admin is more than just being present. It’s about consistent activity, clear communication, and leading by example. Right now, there’s still room to grow in those areas. The recent activity is a good start, and I’d like to see that continue. Improving clarity, both in chat and on the forums, would also help build trust with both players and staff. So for now, just like Chris, I’ll be staying neutral but I’m leaning toward a +1 if you can maintain your presence and address the points mentioned. With that said, good luck with the rest of your application.

Thank you first of all for responding to the application, I have thought about that too but I believe I've got my spot into the playerbase already. I've met the current active playerbase and believe that I could be a right fit but this is true, however my dedication wont change and I still want to make a positive for nide as ive been playing for multiple years.

It's rare that I reply to an application this fast, but given that I have seen you play in the past, there are exceptions to the rule. As per usual, any candidate that applies will get my 100% unbiased opinion. Here goes: I have seen you in the past before on the server & never had any issue with you. However, given that you just recently returned to the server after a long time, I feel like you applied too soon, rather than giving yourself the necessary time before feeling that you're 100% ready to submit an application. Thank you for the report. I had time to review who the cosplayer is and what anime character this also is. This might sound extremely wrong but you have to stop thinking that if you see an anime character that does not have large specific parts would be a kid. This is just wrongfully thinking from your side. In other words just because the character is flat does not mean its a child in anyway. I also do not see anything sexual related to this image. We do not want anything todo with people who think in this way its just disguisting behavior. Real. Im still a relative new player but played enough to recognise the retards who join the server being loud and toxic on the mic and ruin everybody else's experience, when that happens i just leave the game or maybe try unloze. Highkey events is the only time when the server is playable and fun

I agree 100% in that I find pedophilia to be disturbing. With that being said, this behavior is not encouraged and honestly maybe 1% of the server actually supports this. Personally, I usually just don't look at the sprays or you can ask an admin to ban the spray if it's so bad. Realistically, and how I function as an admin, unless an image is explicitly pornographic, or gore, etc. I ignore it. The alternative is if we start getting too aggressive with enforcement it will be a turn off to our active playerbase and we may lose players who may as well just play cs2 if they want a "safer" environment. Realistically I don't think people should post things like this but I think they should be allowed to. My personal hope is thst if someone posts disgusting things they are ideally brought into the community and ameliorate through becoming friends with people, or learning how bad this sort of stuff is through an open and honest discussion. If thst doesn't work, and players who dislike it may bully them until they stop spraying disturbing things or stop playing. I've seen both such cases and it's usually dependent on how the person receives criticism. Some c00l people used to be super edgy and then you have some people who never learn and just kinda get worse. I feel like having things like this is kinda the price you pay for playing on a server like nide, and your have to rely on the community to self moderate to a certain extent, as a large appeal of nide is the somewhat open approach i.e. anyone can come on and talk / map / spray almost anything. This results in cool edgy things like memehell but also some downsides like this. Also this could just be a 20 year old Chinese girl or an AI image.

Even if you disagree with your punishment, it is best to remain civil and polite in your post. Second, we often adjust the punishments of players with long history of infractions. Because most admins don't have the time to check punishments immediately, the immediate duration of punishments might not be correct for your case. Since you have had a long history of infractions, we have increased the duration of your punishment. Yeah, Nide is not in a good state nowadays. some admins are not strict enough they do what they want, and they follow the rules when they feel like it. someone should reboot it from scratch and only give admins to people who are responsible for themselves first and then for the server
