Lately i've started to notice the lack of admins activity on pretty late EU hours and players who disregards about admins presence on the server. They then starts to troll while admins is afking on a serious map which hampers some of the players who wants to get the map beaten and not wasting time. For that i wanted to apply and help the server as much as i could. What time zone are you active in (NA or EU hours)? I consider myself pretty experience but i still do hiccups every now and then but the main point i aim for is try to have fun regardless of which maps is being played. Do you have any past admin experience? None. Zip nada nothing. I have been offered to be admin in the past years but i have declined them due to reasons i do not wish to disclose. Now with my friends encouraging me to apply and seeing them having success at some degree so i thought it's time for me to apply too. Do you have any other skills like (Mapping, Plugins, Drawing, Video editing etc) While i don't have any knowledge on mapping, plugins, video editing, i do have experience with photoshop. I’ve been reluctant to apply for a very long time because I do not feel that this position of admin should be taken lightly. Admins should strive to appear as a role model for others, someone who elevates the player experience and ensures everyone is enjoying their time on the server. You could say I always thought that I lacked the maturity for something like this, but at the end of the day, it’s just a game, so why not? The last line makes it seem like I’m going into this with a half-assed mentality, but I’ll make sure to try and keep everyone as mentally comfortable as possible. I know that I might not click with some of the higher-ups, I know I might come off as someone childish or as someone who's emotionally driven, but I know as well that I am not a power hungry person and never was, and I’m certain that I can make level-headed decisions in a way that reflects positively on the administration, so I’d like to turn a new page in regards of my behavior. I started the journey as a nosteam player during 2019 before buying the game and playing legit. Most of my CS:S playtime is on the server, so probably 5k-ish hours (talk about a no lifer huh). How experienced are you in the gamemode for which you applied? Even after many years of playing, I still do not picture myself as a good player; I consider myself just an average run of the mill ZE player. You won’t see me winning laser maps left and right, but I enjoy trying at least. In regards of experience though, I have played most of the maps at least once. I enjoy playing anything as long as it isn’t the same old. I like trying new maps, even if they were subpar or 20 years old, so you can say I have a decent grasp and understanding of the game mode. Do you have any past admin experience? Do you have any other skills like (Mapping, Plugins, Drawing, Video editing etc) Sadly I have 0 prior admin experience, but I interacted with many admins throughout the years and had many friends go through this endeavor; therefore, I know more or less what my duties and responsibilities are, and what is expected from me in general as an admin. I’m currently a junior software developer (precisely web solutions), and I’m keen on learning anything tech-related because, at the end of the day, it is my passion as an IT graduate. Hi @ AnGux from Fox , First of all, just to clear things up, jonmac13476 was a nickname I used a few months ago, so I'm the admin who restricted you. As for your punishment, like Anwar said, we restricted you permanently because English isn’t a language you understand which means you never know what to do on maps with items when asked to use them. Many admins have noticed how you constantly fail and die whenever you grab an item making things harder for everyone else. If I recall correctly, you ruined several rounds in the final stage of Diddle by heading to the shop and buying useless items without really listening to the leader’s instructions. On a map where the number of items is limited and crucial in order to win. So that was the mistake too many. And I also want to point out that this isn’t a decision I made on my own, I first ebanned you for a week, but after talking and reviewing your history, the staff as a whole has decided that a permanent duration was the way to go. But since you took the time to make an account to write an appeal and we believe you will make efforts in the future, the staff has discussed about it and we decided to do you a favour and reduce your eban to 1 month and 11 days which means you are basically free to pick up items now. We hope you continue to enjoy your time on NiDE.

Yes, I used to be an admin here (on ZE) back in 2021 - 2023, I could say that I was a good-tier admin, though everyone's not perfect, I am sure I can handle all kinds of problems the server may face in the future. I am honored that the server is still using some plugins that I created or edited which is what makes me proud. I am gonna write some notes about myself: I was permanently banned before and I appealed for unban 2 months ago and thankfully it got accepted. I used to be a "bad" person but I am here again to make everything right. I am changing myself for the better, and I am spending my online hours to help the server as possible as I could. I used to be a Tech admin on another community that honestly nide had conflicts with. I used to be a little bit problematic for some staffs on NiDE, but I apologized for that in my unban appeal topic. I feel like I want to be an admin again here. I understand that English may not be your first language since you arent native English speaker, and that what makes communications is difficult. But I will try to provide a brief explanation of why this happened. In zombie escape mode, teamwork and coordination are essential, especially for players holding important items. When you hold an item, your actions can greatly affect the entire team chance of winning the map. Thats why listening to the leaders instructions and using the item at the right time is extremely important, even if misunderstandings happen, its your responsibility as an item user to pay attention for what other people saying, if you arent sure ask and follow teams plan as best as possible. The punishment was about the impact of miscommunication and misuse an item during crucial moments. I encourage you to improve your communication and awareness in future so similar situations wont happen again. However the eban duration may look too long but Harraga ebanned you based on your history. You have quite bad history (11 ebans) for not using items properly and not listening to leader. Anyway I will review the duration with the LSA team to see if it's possible to make adjustments since you made an appeal. Be patient.

Hello @ Weiss flushr did kban on you, but he was about to extend it since, you had history, but he couldnt, cause hes currently trial, and cant handle bans via web. The extend was procedded by me. Reviewing demo, you literally see the team, but you decide to go side, and start knifing zm on spawn, what the point, and i assume, since you didnt realise where people went, you tried to knife in right direction to crates, but it failed, and then you tried to knife on left, where tree blocked it. You know it wasnt nemesis mode map anymore, and there was a leader, right? Yes, the extend done based on your history. But considering your appeal, it will be reduced to 1 week. after reviewing the demo the slay was justified bcs it was clearly over, 7 cts camping the top and delaying as you see in the video down. the second part, the player who took the ring was clueless and obviously doesnt know the map, they lost the round bcs that so Harraga apparently lost his tempers and made some comments he shouldnt do , however he acknowledged his mistake and everyone can slip up . what happened on that session is something often happens not a big deal. I have noticed that you have been targeting staffs and nitpicking their minor issues or for completely normal things, which making me wondering what is your true intentions behind these reports. Map was over, and me as a leader I left indeed, and as i reviewed after, people just start rtv the map, however, better not to knife anybody, to try remind admins to do something in order to change map, even if map is not winnable and its dead sv. I reduced it for 2 hour, since its your first, and you are not trolling and all the time serious, when we play. Closed.

Although you are a former ZR SM, I never had any issues with you & you were a good SM during your time. Hello Maso, Let's sum up exactly what happened. You joined the server for the last stage, you didn't shoot the zombies a single time since you seem to have done 0 damage at the moment of the action. You tried to hide somewhere in the final room before giving up and regrouping with your teammates. You could have used Earth here after Bio went away since that's the classic strategy we've always been doing on Cosmo. Finally, as you showed it so well in your video, you went to the right with your item on the lasers instead of staying in the middle even though you know the range of the item is bigger than what it looks. That ended up getting all the players on the left and middle stuck. You also used it at the same time as Wind instead of waiting 6-7 seconds since the zombies were getting pushed back. Also Earth on Cosmo has literally no delay unlike the Earth on Westersand, you probably "panicked" even if it's hard to believe and used it before you even turned around. Since you seem pretty inexperienced with this item, I recommend you watching this video and see how an actual good player uses Earth. This was from yesterday's Cosmo session. Next time you're not sure about doing something risky, try to think twice before going for it, especially if you've got quite a history. With all that said, the staff has decided to cut your punishment down to 2 weeks instead of 3 months. This means that your punishment will now expire on 29 October 2025. While i do believe in giving people a second chance, i have zero tolerance for this kind of behavior. as @ CrazyChris mentioned, the nature of your actions makes them, to put it mildly, completely unacceptable regardless of any reasoning behind them. You were warned multiple times by several staff members, yet you chose to continue. your actions crossed a clear an serious line and demonstrated a significant lack of judgement and moral compass. I don’t see any reason for a second chance.

Given with how severe your actions were, no apology will ever erase the actions that you committed in the past. To think that you were warned in the past & you continued to disregard those warnings, I don't see any reason as to why you should get a 2nd chance.

@ DragonzBalls related to last post before "immature admins" you have right to answer, however, answer as conclusion to your discussion from @ Anwar was stated. I dont see a reason to open another topic again. You were explaiend > follow the rules and respect both players and admins. I dont wanna lift all chat logs, that you have, tho i can, cause after Luffy was reported by admin abused i saw so many shittalk from you aswell, even tho report wasnt event made by you. If you dont have proofs, remembering the maps when u got abused, i dont know what else to say. How we suppose to judge, when we see chatlogs, how you actually behave, and you tell us about "counter attacks". Consider this and last post as a warning again. Dont create new topic or you will be restricted from posting. Nobody bias against sv admins, we monitor their behave all the time and keeping track of that. we have given you multiple chances still you keep breaking server rules, disrupting the gameplay by trolling, and harassing admins for no actual reason. every punishment you have received was based on proof, not bias. As everyone can see on the replies from Koen and Kiku above, or the video I will provide with reply here. Showing a prime example of your behavior in the server. Acting innocent or playing the victim doesnt change the fact that your behavior is unacceptable and furthermore If you want not getting punished, the solution is simple, follow the rules and respect both players and admins. As Koen already stated to consider this as warning since the punishments will get only stricter until you are no longer welcomed here.

I am glad that you are interested to join the admin team. I have known you for quite long time now for almost 6 years and counting. I am personally in really good terms with you ever since. I see potential in you and I don’t doubt your interest and seriousness in helping the community, being active and engaging within it, but I also have concerns. You struggles at times with controlling your tempers and can act emotionally and immature in situations where an admin needs to stay calm and level headed. This makes me unsure if you are going to perform well for the role. I like how you admitted your mistake for the eban part which indicate you are holding the accountability for your actions. You have you decent knowledge and good experience in the ze field which will intercede you to get the chance.
