Hello, NiDE community,

I have an important message for you all, and I’ll try to keep it short.

As my staff team already knows, I have decided to retire from the admin team together with @ Rognus . The decision mainly comes from my need to focus more on my studies and personal life. Toward the end of my management period, I faced a lot of stress and saw no other logical option than to retire.

Regarding Rognus in all of this many of you probably don’t know him too well from his time in management, but he was a good friend of mine who helped me a lot with decision making and communication. Because of that, my retirement also means he will leave the community behind, as he was only there to support me in the decisions I forwarded to the community.

I will be leaving the community in good hands with @ Anwar , who has shown a lot of promise. As a past server manager of NiDE, he knows how to operate the server. Anwar is used to holding high positions and understands responsibility. I expect you to show him the same trust and care you have shown me during my four years in management. I know Anwar has a positive outlook on the future of NiDE, supported by the amazing, hard working staff team that continues to bring updates to the server and keep it alive.

My role in the community will now be as a regular player. I have no intention of leaving the community or CS:S in general. I see myself helping to keep the server up to date with new maps and content, including future map contests and mapping projects together with other amazing mappers. I also plan to continue supporting the development of the server, but as someone with no direct access.

The idea of retiring still feels insane to me, as I once expected to remain in management until the very end of NiDE. Sadly, events have taken a different turn, and my focus has shifted.

Thanks Hobbitten for all ur work for NiDe, same with Rognus (Or Cocknus  ) It was great to work with you guys while I myself was in LSA and admin team. Your guys' effort and work wont be forgotten and both of your input to the management of NiDe will be missed for sure. Thanks guys (Now go abuse while you still have the amdin )

As far as @ Anwar goes, I'm excited to see you take over in the Management role. I have a lot of confidence in you that the community will continue to move forward with the ups & downs that will come ahead. We will do our part in ensuring that the community stays afloat. Give it all that you got. Up & forward is the only way to go. I look forward to the new challenges that will come along in the community.

Thanks for everything you did for the server, it was a pleasure to work with both of you on this project and i'm pretty sure we will still see each other every now and then. With less work comes less responsibility, i'm looking foward to what you will bring to CSS with this new "role".

@ Anwar  Becoming manager ,  is very very good and best choice . He is very loyal and true . It just comes naturally to him to do it. Flawless and Fabulous in everything that he did or will do in near future .

Thank you all for the nice comments. You will be seeing me around and hopefully I will also be seeing you guys active on the server. You are the reason we still have a community and that is something we never thank you enough for. After this weekend I will no longer have any permissions.

@ Hobbitten   I hope to see you play and of course lead sometimes certain maps . And yes player base make it all happen . Counter strike source WILL NEVER DIE . I hope so !! . Now as regular player , i will have reason to boost you in nemesis maps   . But you never play this mod  .

Biten you were one of the players i was looking forward to play with in the server and it is really sad to see you retire which i didn't expect, but well every good time comes to an end. Good luck in studies and life and im pretty sure Anwar will be really good management with really good events and etc.

Hey, @ Hobbitten ! it's me again! Seeing this post made me want to say the biggest and the sincerest thank you for everything you've done for me and the NiDE community. You gave me a chance to be an admin, helped me to get out of sticky situations (pun intended) when I acted in the very immature way and made mistakes or even abuses. Then you made me an EM, thus making me love composing the events for this wonderful community! 65 events total of mine making(!). And even despite my mental instability of a 17yo teen, you gave me an opportunity to be the lead admin of this server. And even after all the quarrels we had in 2023, you still never had any grudge against me... Thank you for being so kind to me and all the other people! I miss hanging out with you, Rognus, Capuno and Akadir! I hope we'll be playing something great again (Calamity MasterDeath, yes >=) together sometime in the future!

No worries Sticky. Take care man we had some great times for sure. You sure have evolved a lot throughout the years we have known eachother. Perhaps with me retiring we can cook a map up in the future with some specific weird art style like we used to.

What a shocking news man! I never thought you would leave like this, despite what you had to go through beyond those years, but I believed you would continue your dedications into the community and keep up the good work, You will never be missed my danish darling, throughout all those your years i have not seen any single negative point from you, unlike the ex-management (except batata and lardy), but this is how life is, it is not always gonna be smiling to you, we understand that you have to leave your position to focus more on your life, and I wish you a good luck with that.

You have left an obvious image of yourself on nide, forget all the troubles you had to go through, you were one of the best I have seen honestly, I don't really have so much to say as I had been away for a long time from here, but I have a lot inside my heart towards you, and I guess it hurts me inside to see you retiring from management when you did all this hard work.

Anyways Hobb, I wish you a good luck with your life and I hope you keep your contributions on the community, from the mapping sector to the player skins making, and of course releasing mm2 even though I have no idea how this map even looks like.
