Locked Font scaling issue

Hey fellas,

Happy new year, it has been a while, and I need some help if possible please.
I bought a new monitor, 2k, and using 2560 x 1440 (native) ingame, but when I look at players their tag, name and health is really big text and I wonder how I fix that so its a bit smaller?
Same thing is happening with infection message, i added both screenshots to this message to show what I see.
It used to be way smaller on my old monitor but yeah that wasnt a 2k monitor.

Any help will be appreciated.
I was able to fix the menu text size by editing SourceScheme.res but I have no idea what to edit more to fix my issue with these ingame fonts.

Hello fella. What you can try to do is change the resolution to 1920x1080 and change it back to your native resolution. Maayybbeee it might fix the issue? I also have a 2K resolution but I'm not bothered by it. Other can also help you out on this one. Happy New Years

The way I solve this issue is to first put these two commands in your autoexec config:

alias "j" "mat_setvideomode 2560 1440 0"
alias "k" "mat_setvideomode 2560 1440 1"

I then enter j and then k in console when I launch into the game.

Tried this but no difference for me, fonts are still huuuge
I added a screenshot how it used to be, you see the difference in text size compared to my picture on top, its like the game is set at 150% lol

try this if your cs:s is borderless (add into autoexec)
 

alias reloadfont "mat_setvideomode 2560 1440 1; mat_setvideomode 2560 1440 0; mat_setvideomode 2560 1440 2"
reloadfont

this should debug it real quick i suppose...

I added this and launched the game but im not sure what i need to look out for? Sorry but with this autoexec stuff im not so familiar
Either way its still the same as in first message all the way on top

i think you be better using custom fonts file, that probably can be rescaled ingame..that's what i did with my l4d2 at least..

try this hud mode and redo the method i mentioned above, it should rescale the hud properly,

Do i just put these files in cstrike? or does it have to be in cstrike/custom?

cstrike/custom
then do the method,
and while ingame/main menu type "reloadfont" in console

Do i need to keep this in autoexec or can it be removed now it works?

keep it there, it executes itself whenever the game starts up
