CS:S Zombie Escape Event #304 Nomination Thread Welcome to NiDE's event nominations! You will have the chance to nominate the map(s) for event #304, that will happen next Sunday. But, please, keep in mind that: The event needs to be somehow creative and challenging in it's totality. If you are going to suggest maps that we play regularly in the server, please add special kickers to them (ex: low gravity, no items, speed, etc..) You can suggest one map or up to five maps. If possible, try to not exceed a 5 hours duration for the entire event. When choosing the map(s), try to choose map(s) that have not been played for a long time. Avoid choosing maps that have been played less than 6 months ago. The event nominations will make it to the next phase (the nominations poll) based on the number of Likes they have received. Even though you were having fun, you should still be careful whenever you troll, because you could land yourself in something worse than what happened today. I will agree that Georin's punishment was quite long for being your first eban, but in no case should he have removed the punishment to reissue it again. Update: Following deliberation with fellow LSAs, the ban has been reduced to 1 hour. Although this behaviour is punishable, a 1 week ban for this alone is still quite a severe punishment by itself.

Hello nothai, Having reviewed the demo with Midknight, we found a clear pattern where you were joining the round from spectate shortly after the mother zombie infection took place, which is considered to be inflation. Your punishment will remain in place. Closed

I believe the situation has been resolved, plus there was also clear evidence in the demo that you were intentionally glitching the map. Closed

Apologies for the late response on our part, but here is our conclusion: The player was inflating, however we noticed that there wasn’t any real intent to troll in this regard, as it looked like it was just a new player wanting to have fun that doesn’t fully understand how the server works at the moment. There was also an attempt by our Event Managers to prevent the impact of this behaviour by stripping every round, which I will agree is less effective than other methods we normally resort to in situations like this. We’re going to let the player off this time, but they will be warned should they continue with this behaviour. Thank you for the report. Closed

Judging from the messages here, it looks like the eban has been dealt with. As for the leader access, I don't see any abuse from his part. However, on map votes it is very common for people to yell over each other, which you can use !sm to self mute. If you have any further issues, don't hesitate to reach out. Thank you for the report.
