I feel it's comfortable for me to come back and give Server Admin another shot. I retired near the beginning of the year due to burnout and real-life work piling on, but I am now at the point where I've started coming back to ZE on a semi-regular basis, so why not come back to the place where it all began? What time zone are you active in (NA or EU hours)? Apart from admin experience, I have been leading maps on the server occassionally to try and help new and inexperienced players learn about a specific map. Some maps I'm good at leading, others not so much. Do you have any past admin experience? I was previously an admin here back in September 2022, where I also was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to be LSA and an Event Manager. I retired around the start of the year due to pressure and stress from real-life committments, resulting in lack of time for playing ZE, in addition to burnout from the gamemode. Do you have any other skills like (Mapping, Plugins, Drawing, Video editing etc) I have previously made low effort memes for friends in private, and at one point opened Hammer to try and create a map for the ZE mapping contest (I still need to do that! ). I have also previously hosted private servers for my friends and have previously run community events on this server.

CS:S Zombie Escape Event #404 Nomination Thread Welcome to NiDE's event nominations! You will have the chance to nominate the map(s) for event #404, that will happen next Sunday. But, please, keep in mind that: The event needs to be somehow creative and challenging in it's totality. If you are going to suggest maps that we play regularly in the server, please add special kickers to them (ex: low gravity, no items, speed, etc..) You can suggest one map or up to five maps. If possible, try to not exceed a 5 hours duration for the entire event. When choosing the map(s), try to choose map(s) that have not been played for a long time. I really don’t see how you’re being serious within this application. You’re using the same reasoning to apply as last time, and only added a little bit extra. I don’t see any other motivation from you other than wanting to make events. That responsibility comes far later and shouldn’t be your main point of the application. You’ve called out other admins claiming to be more active than them, which I find very disrespectful. Finally, the application is still very bare minimum. If you’re truly serious about applying for admin, I’d advise not thinking about events, but how you’ll actually contribute to the server in NA times. Declined

After reviewing the second demo from the map, which contained both of the points you were trying to appeal, I can't see any abuse from our admins. For the first point, heal died and soon as you noticed, you didn't pick up the item and instead proceeded to shoot it away from everyone and make it fall off the map. The drop message cleared said the user died and dropped heal. Clear intentions of trolling the round. Second point, you doorhugged specificly to get heal, then after 10-20 seconds you went in the middle between the doorhuggers and the defenders and used heal on yourself before backing up towards the doorhuggers at the TP. Looks like misuse to me. Your behaviour has gone too far. From what we've seen, you deliberately troll then act like you didn't mean to just to try and get our other admins in trouble. This is unacceptable and I am issuing a suitable punishment for this misconduct. From today, you will be banned in-game for two weeks, and you will be ebanned and kbanned until the end of the year. Your behaviour was unacceptable and you need to see this from your own point of view. Closed
