  • CS:S ZE Lead Server Admin

Killik said he would permban me if I didn't apply, so here I am xD

1) Your Name and Age. (Remember that you can only apply if you're 18+ )
    - Andrew, in my 30s

2) Your Discord UserName: (aF! mohamed. #1906 for example)
    - Andrew123123999#9337

3) STEAM_0 and which server you applying for ( ZE-CSS/CSGO or ZR-CSS ) :
    - steam_0:1:6323, ZE CSS

4) How long are you playing CSS ?
    - Since 2004.  I have taken many breaks, so probably about 8-10 years total. I have 6,000 hours in my steam account, and 50% of it is ze

5) You will need minimun of 72h of connection time (3 days)
    - Stats say I have 15+ days of connection time

6) Needs a minimun of 1+ players and 3+ admins to get approved + Lead admins will have the final word.
    - *crosses fingers* xD

7) Why do you think we should take you into the team? What knowledge do you have, what is important for you ON a server or in the community?
    - I would like to be a part of the team for several reasons: I am very active, I am active when there are very few admins online (evening in the US), and I have a lot of experience.  Also, I have a been a donated admin for 4 months now, and the entire reason I bought it was to stop people from trolling and ruining the game for the rest of the people on the server. Last fall and winter, the trolling was a huge problem.  I still eban and mute people regularly, as I am one of the only admins, and often the ONLY admin, online during the US evening hours.  But even with all the ebanning and muting I have had to do, I have not had any abuse threads against me in those 4 months.  I always strive to be fair and give warnings and give the benefit of the doubt.
    - I have knowledge of almost every map, and with 3000+ hours of ze I have seen how all items, bosses, and gameplay works.
    - The things that are important in a community are simple: fair play through enforcement of the admin rules, enjoyment of the game and the community, and minimal toxicity.

? Which experiences do you have about being an ADMIN and other things that can beneift us having you as an admin?
    - I have been admin on small css servers a long time ago, but never admin on ze before buying admin 4 months ago.  I have mastered the admin commands and have 4 months of very active adminning with no abuse threads or issues.

9) Some details about yourself, what are you doing right now, how often do you think you'll play on the server?
    - I am a Systems Engineer for a healthcare company.   I love the outdoors - mainly skiing, wakeboarding, golfing.  I am on the server for 2-6 hours, 2-5 times a week, depending on life.  ZE, and one mobile game, are the only two games I play ?

10) here is a small question need to answer it , imagine if you are a new admin on the server and there is a player he is being specious to using Aimbot, And you need to deal with him  how will you deal with that? Write your answer  in full details more detailed answer mean better answer , new admin applications should consider this question .
    - If I suspect a player of using an aimbot, I will spectate him, and I will start a demo.  If it is obvious that he is aimbotting (signs of aimbot are unrealistically high dmg every round, jittery/snappy aim, unusual mouse movements, perfectly tracking the head or other body parts many times in a row, etc) then I will ban him for 1 week, or more, according to the guidelines: https://nide.gg/forums/topic/1834-admin-guidelines-css-zombie-escape-server/. If it is NOT obvious he is cheating, or if I am in doubt, I will ask a higher admin/lead admin to review the demo before I take action.

    • One of the most common problems people experience during online gameplay of any videogame besides Counter-Strike is high latency and ping. As proof of my comitement to the comunity and as professional in the IT field I offer my knowledge and help to anyone who is facing this under this topic. Shoot away your questions and dont be shy. ^^
    • Just before anyone ask me what kind of role I had on the projects I worked on and what kind of IDEs and prog langueages im most familiar with, ill give it a short answer: I started as a QA tester, became a junior prog and evolved to senior in around 4 years of exp since I finished my TeSP and while studying Computer Engineer. Ive also been a team leader for prog team and networks monitoring team for some months until a while ago where I decided to step down. The pay was good but my wish is mainly to program and not to do admin stuff. I prefer the tech part of the job where I have a problem at hand and I need to think of a solution. My github page is personal, dont ask me for professional company code as im not allowed by law and IT Society Work ethics and Engineering order to be able to share what ive worked on professionaly. But all my personal code is on my githhub page and available for anyone who has a need for it.  As for my tech skills list, my predominant langueages are Python and Java, I also like C, C# and C++, where ive been ehancing my skills lately. Programers and game devs who work with unity and unreal engines know what im talking about. Im pretty experiencied and fluent with Web Dev like HTML, CSS and Javascript. I also have experience with database design, administration and monitoring like SQL Server, MySQL and some non-relational databases like MongoDB. Im pretty good at solving problems with operating systems, mainly Windows and Linux. Im a pro at building PCs, specialy gaming PCs and I have phisical experience with hardware mouting for entreprises like servers and network equipment. Thanks and I wish you all a happy year. ^^
