1. Your Name and Age.
?? Hunter, 21

2. Your Discord UserName:
xlxPcdj.png

3. STEAM_0 and which server you applying for:
STEAM_0:0:196956684
Applying for Zombie Escape.

4. How long are you playing CSS?
I started playing in 2010 but had long breaks in-between.
I've been playing on NiDE.GG since 2017 (proof).

5. Why do you think we should take you into the team? What knowledge do you have, what is important for you ON a server or in the community?
I've been in hundreds of servers since I started playing CS:S, however NiDE.GG is one of the few I've actually stuck around on as I enjoy the overall atmosphere and playing with the people on this server.
Because of the large playerbase of the server, naturally there will be occasional rulebreakers and cheaters. This is why I'm offering to volunteer as an administrator: to ensure that regular players can have a fun experience and keep coming back to the server.

6 Which experiences do you have about being an ADMIN and other things that can benefit us having you as an admin?
I have experience as a general administrator on a SA:MP server that on average had around 300 players online at once (proof).
Yes, it's not CS:S but the duties were similar: to keep an eye on and take actions against rulebreakers and cheaters.
From that experience, I have a pretty good insight on how to communicate with other admins and respond to various situations.
It also wouldn't be difficult for me to readapt to CS:S since I'm a fast learner.

7. Some details about yourself, what are you doing right now, how often do you think you'll play on the server?
At the moment I'm a college student. However because of the summer break I have more free time to spare for CS:S - I'll be able to stop by at least once a day.

8. here is a small question need to answer it , imagine if you are a new admin on the server and there is a player he is being specious to using Aimbot, And you need to deal with him  how will you deal with that? Write your answer  in full details more detailed answer mean better answer , new admin applications should consider this question.
Assuming their cheats made it past the auto-detection:

  • Is the aimbot 100% obvious? If so, instantly ban and save a video clip to keep as evidence in case the ban is appealed.
  • If the aimbot is not that obvious, I would start spectating and assuming I have administrative tools, I'd check their hit accuracy and possibly even get opinions from other admins that are online. If I spot anything unnatural that undoubtedly suggests the player is aimbotting, I'd ban them and save a video clip for evidence.
  • If there is suspicion but no way I can confirm they are aimbotting at the moment, I would let other admins know to keep an eye on that person if possible and also save video clips as evidence if something notable happened.

Thank you for your time. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask on this thread. ?

    • One of the most common problems people experience during online gameplay of any videogame besides Counter-Strike is high latency and ping. As proof of my comitement to the comunity and as professional in the IT field I offer my knowledge and help to anyone who is facing this under this topic. Shoot away your questions and dont be shy. ^^
    • Just before anyone ask me what kind of role I had on the projects I worked on and what kind of IDEs and prog langueages im most familiar with, ill give it a short answer: I started as a QA tester, became a junior prog and evolved to senior in around 4 years of exp since I finished my TeSP and while studying Computer Engineer. Ive also been a team leader for prog team and networks monitoring team for some months until a while ago where I decided to step down. The pay was good but my wish is mainly to program and not to do admin stuff. I prefer the tech part of the job where I have a problem at hand and I need to think of a solution. My github page is personal, dont ask me for professional company code as im not allowed by law and IT Society Work ethics and Engineering order to be able to share what ive worked on professionaly. But all my personal code is on my githhub page and available for anyone who has a need for it.  As for my tech skills list, my predominant langueages are Python and Java, I also like C, C# and C++, where ive been ehancing my skills lately. Programers and game devs who work with unity and unreal engines know what im talking about. Im pretty experiencied and fluent with Web Dev like HTML, CSS and Javascript. I also have experience with database design, administration and monitoring like SQL Server, MySQL and some non-relational databases like MongoDB. Im pretty good at solving problems with operating systems, mainly Windows and Linux. Im a pro at building PCs, specialy gaming PCs and I have phisical experience with hardware mouting for entreprises like servers and network equipment. Thanks and I wish you all a happy year. ^^
